THIS NEXT HOME WAS BUILT BY A HUSBAND-WIFE TEAM, JOEL AND LYNNE THOMAS -- AFTER TAKING SKIP ELLSWORTH'S TWO DAY SEMINAR.
JOEL'S LETTER STATES,
"Skip,
I've enclosed a few pictures of the cabin we've built using your method. We've done it all ourselves (including electricity and plumbing)..."
"Thank you for your instruction..."
Sincerely,
Joel and Lynne Thomas
This beautiful home is located high in the Cascade Mountains -- with a beautiful stream and plenty of seclusion. The builders sent us many photographs of the home under construction. We will include a few of the photos here...
A beautiful home, in a beautiful environment.
A full-length porch will be added on this side of the house. There will be a different roof-pitch over the porch.
Some interesting details.
The roof insulation will be added above the 2" X 6" tongue-and-groove car-decking.
The builders -- with their four-footed helpers.
The double-garage.
The metal roof will do a good job of shedding snow in this area.
The "knee-braces" will add a lot of lateral stability to these columns.
A very nice job. The log ends will be cut back when the home is finished.
A large porch area can make "country living" a lot easier -- by providing an outside space that is out of the wind, rain, and snow.
