Q: Do I need a crane to lift heavy logs up onto the wall?

A: No. This can be done with tools that can be carried into the building site. At most of our building sites (such as at Skip's ranch) a crane can not be brought into the site because of the narrow driveways, trees, hills, rough terrain, etc.

Did the pioneers use a crane? Of course not!
