A HISTORY OF THE ASSOCIATION

"The Log Home Builders Association Of North America" has over 35,000 members throughout the world. The Association is listed in such publications as; A Directory Of National Trade Associations, published by The United States Department Of Commerce; The Encyclopedia Of Associations, published by The Gale Research Company; The National Avocational Organizations Directory, published by Columbia Books; The National Trade and Professional Associations of the United States, also published by Columbia Books; etc.

The primary purpose of our Association is to preserve the "true-and-pure" craft of log home building -- to disseminate information about log homes -- to pass the craft on to future generations -- and to teach people how to "build" or "buy" the best log homes for the least amount of money.

WE PRESERVE OUR CRAFT FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

We have used a variety of methods to accomplish our objectives, including the TWO-DAY SEMINARS (11 HOURS ON SATURDAY AND 11 HOURS ON SUNDAY), Journals, Newsletters, Local Meetings, International Meetings, free log home tours, highly successful Apprenticeship Programs, a free "question and answer" hot-line by phone (1-360-794-4469) and/or a free "question and answer hotline by e-mail.
