Last time we counted, there were about 2,710,000 web sites on the Internet that offered free log home plans. Just go ahead and run a search at google and see for yourself. Unfortunately this is just a myth. What they are offering is free log home floor plan ideas, which are much different that free log home plans. We've never seen anyone giving away free log home plans (blueprints) on the Internet. And even if they did, the plans would undoubtedly be useless for our members and students, because we will be showing you the right way to build a log home. Who knows whether a set of "free log home plans" came from a designer who knew what they were doing?
"Free" log home plans are a thing of the past. Today, most jurisdictions will not accept plans unless they are professionally drawn with a high degree of detail (and those types of plans are copyrighted by the designer, which means they can't be given away for free).
