Photographs from the Bruce Lee Memorial Dinner

This is Chip Ellsworth -- sitting on "uncle Sonny's" lap.

Chip spends most of his time sitting on Sonny's lap or Jesse's lap. It's a serious case of "hero worship."

Ed Hart was one of Bruce's "main men" in Seattle. He and Jesse were room-mates at 7th and James. The first practice sessions with Bruce were at their place. We spent much of our time hanging out at this location. It was almost like a "club house," where we were always welcome. This duplex was destroyed to make room for Interstate #5.

Skip says that the  governor of Washington should have re-routed I-5 through Delaware -- thus preserving the "7th and James Duplex" for posterity.

This is Jesse Glover, Tommy Wong, and Skip Ellsworth.

Tommy is working extremely hard to preserve and promulgate Bruce's tecniques and philosophies. He is instrumental in organizing the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do seminars and memorials -- and he works almost constantly to safeguard Bruce's interests.

Therefore, I feel that every martial artist in the world owes a lot to Tommy Wong.

Except for the absence of Le Roy Garcia and Tak Miyabe, these were Bruce Lee's original students in the Seattle area.

These are Bruce's original students -- being photographed with Linda at the banquet that was held in Bruce's honor.
